5 Ways to Save on CD, DVD and
Blu-ray Disc Duplication

1. Plan Ahead

One of the largest factors that can determine the price of a replication job is the amount of time we have to complete your order. Giving us time to use the most efficient production method allows us to offer you the best overall value. Of course, last minute jobs happen and we are here to provide a solution for every job. We can work faster than anyone in the industry and have turned short jobs for customers while they wait and even 10,000 piece jobs in less than 48 hours!

2. Count

One of the first things you should think about when you get ready for your CD, DVD or Blu-ray Disc duplication project is quantity. The quantity you plan to order shapes the rest of the process. For example, certain types of packaging are only cost effective at quantities over 1,000 units. You also don't want to order more than you need, otherwise you may end of up with excess inventory sitting on your shelf in a few months. Our On-Demand Publishing System is a great value if you only need small quantities of content that changes frequently.

3. Share With Us

The more detail you can give us about your project the better we will be able to serve you. We will ask you numerous questions when we first talk about a project. We don't mean to be nosy, but our experience has shown us that every little detail can help us save you money on your project. Is there an insert that could be printed in 2 colors instead of 4? What about packaging? Could you artwork be scaled to 4 page panels instead of 6? Details like this can help save you valuable dollars that really add up.

4. Plan For The End

Think about how you plan to distribute your product. Will it be sent by mail? Will it be attached to other promotional literature? Will it be sold at a retail outlet or through an online store? Having a clear idea will help determine your ideal packaging options.

5. Count on Murphy

A project that starts on time could easily turn into a rush project if the master is delayed, so it's a good idea to always send us two copies in case one is damaged in the mail or has problems being read. By taking the time to proof your artwork completely and carefully it can save you from costly re-work or re-printing due to errors or typos. By the way, did we mention it's a good idea to make a copy of your master before you send it to us? In fact, make two or three just in case!
